It
comprises the Wireless Base Station and Wireless
Rain Sensor. It operates by the Base Station receiving
signals from the Rain Sensor which collects the rain outside.
The
Wireless Base Station informs you whether
it is raining and tracks and displays rainfall history over
the last 7 days, weeks or months.
The
Base Station can be placed inside your office or home, or
outside if placed in a water-tight unit. The Base Station
must be within 25 meters (or 80 feet) of the Wireless
Rain Sensor.
The
Wireless Rain Sensor can be placed on a terrace,
lawn or garden where it can collect rain freely and directly.
Ensure that it is protected from wind so that it cannot tip
it should be placed above ground level.
